ION News contacted four pharmacies located in Port-Louis and Rose-Hill to gather their opinions on the situation. Each confirmed that when a medication from a specific brand is temporarily unavailable, other similar medications are generally available to meet patients’ needs.
This stock shortage situation is attributed to various factors, including global supply issues, but pharmacists emphasize that this does not constitute a crisis. They encourage the public not to panic and to consult their pharmacist for any questions or concerns regarding their treatments.
