Theft of Gold Necklaces in Piton

An incident of theft has been reported by a resident of Piton, where two gold necklaces worth a total of Rs 1 million were stolen. The complaint was filed with the authorities on Friday, July 24, detailing a theft that occurred the day before, on July 23, between noon and 2 PM.
According to initial information gathered by the police, the jewelry was kept in a wardrobe in the bedroom of the house located on Royal Road. Among the stolen items is a necklace adorned with eight gold pendants and another necklace made of gold beads.
This theft raises concerns about security in the area, prompting residents to question the protection of their belongings and the measures to be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
