Suspension of Concert Licenses in Rodrigues
The authorities in Rodrigues are taking measures to ensure a conducive environment for students' exams.
In Rodrigues, the authorities have decided to temporarily suspend applications for licenses to organize concerts and similar events. This measure, adopted by the Executive Council of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly, will take effect from September 12 to November 13, 2026.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Commissioner Francois Aubret Grandcourt on September 4. The primary aim of this suspension is to minimize potential disruptions during the crucial exam period, allowing students to fully concentrate on their preparation.
This initiative demonstrates the local authorities’ commitment to supporting students in their educational journey, ensuring that exam conditions are as favorable as possible.
