Digital Driving License Still Unavailable
The Ministry of Information Technology urges users to be patient while awaiting the launch of the digital license.
The Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation recently announced that the digital driving license is not yet operational. This announcement follows a surge of requests from users attempting to access their license via the KOREK! and MauPass applications.
In a statement published on September 2, the ministry clarified that the digital license will be operational once the corresponding legislation is in effect. In the meantime, citizens have been asked not to attempt to connect to these applications to access their driving license.
This situation has caused some confusion among users who hoped to utilize the digital service. The ministry emphasized the importance of patience during this transition phase. An official communication will be released to inform the public of the availability of the digital driving license as soon as the situation progresses.
