Collaboration for a Study on AI Adoption in Mauritius
The MCCI, OTAM, and CAPFOR join forces to analyze the use of artificial intelligence by Mauritian companies.
The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) recently announced the launch of a market study in collaboration with the Outsourcing and Telecommunications Association of Mauritius (OTAM) and CAPFOR Mauritius. This initiative aims to assess the level of adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) by businesses in Mauritius.
This project seeks to measure not only the degree of AI adoption but also the readiness and governance associated with this technology within Mauritian companies. The study will take place in a context where AI is becoming increasingly important in the business world, transforming processes and operational models.
The results of this study will provide a better understanding of how local businesses are integrating artificial intelligence into their operations and what barriers exist to this adoption. Economic actors will thus benefit from an in-depth analysis that could help them make informed decisions regarding the integration of AI into their strategies.
This project is part of a broader framework for economic development and innovation in Mauritius, where digitalization and the use of new technologies are encouraged. The success of this study could also help position Mauritius as a technological hub in the region.
