Maritime Search at Case Noyale
A 58-year-old man found dead off the coast of Case Noyale following an operation by the National Coast Guard.
On Sunday, August 30, 2026, a search operation was conducted by the National Coast Guard (NCG) off the coast of Case Noyale, following the disappearance of a 58-year-old man at sea. The alert was raised around 2:40 PM, triggering immediate search efforts in the Îlot Malais area.
Despite aerial searches carried out by a police helicopter starting at 4:50 PM, these initial operations did not succeed in locating the victim. It was finally at 4:55 PM that NCG divers managed to locate the man’s body at a depth of 6 meters.
The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of this individual remain unclear, and an investigation may be opened to determine the exact causes of this tragic incident.
