Improvement of the Smart Car Park at SSR Airport
An investment of Rs 50 million to enhance user experience at the parking facility.
The Smart Car Park at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSR) has recently launched a new parking management system aimed at improving user experience. This project, which required an investment of over Rs 50 million, was put into operation on August 17.
The main objective of this initiative is to streamline the entry and exit of the parking facility, as well as to address issues encountered with the previous system. The parking area, which covers approximately 50,000 m², experiences significant traffic, with around 7,500 vehicle movements per day.
This new system is designed to reduce waiting times, a common issue for users, especially during peak periods. By modernizing the parking infrastructure, the airport hopes to provide a more efficient and pleasant service for travelers.
This update is part of a series of improvements being made at SSR Airport, aimed at meeting the growing needs of passengers. Airport authorities are aware of the challenges related to parking management and are committed to implementing innovative solutions to ensure a better experience.
With this new system, users can expect a smoother and quicker management of their parking experience, which should help reduce the stress associated with airport travel.
