Investigation Launched After Body Found at Pointe-aux-Sables
A 38-year-old man was found dead on the beach, raising questions within the local community.
An investigation has been launched following the tragic discovery of a 38-year-old man’s body on a beach in Pointe-aux-Sables. This unfortunate event occurred on Sunday, August 16, when passersby reported the presence of the body to the police.
At the time of discovery, the victim was wearing shorts and shoes. These details, while revealing, still leave many questions regarding the circumstances surrounding this case.
The body has been transported to the morgue of Dr A. G. Jeetoo Hospital, located in Port-Louis. An autopsy is scheduled for August 17 to determine the cause of death and clarify the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
The Pointe-aux-Sables community is in shock over this discovery, and concerns are growing among residents regarding safety and recent events in the area.
