Arrest of a Man in Bois-Chéri for Drug Possession
A search by the ADSU in Bois-Chéri led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man found with cannabis and psychotropic medications.
On Thursday, August 13, a 26-year-old man was apprehended in Bois-Chéri following an operation conducted by the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU). This intervention took place at his home, where officers carried out a search.
During this operation, ADSU agents discovered three plastic bags containing cannabis. Additionally, an electronic scale was found on the premises, bearing traces of plant material, also suspected to be cannabis. The police also seized several psychotropic medications, which are believed to be illegal.
Along with the drugs, a sum of Rs 6,850 was recovered during this search. The arrested man has been placed in custody for questioning by the relevant authorities.
