A 55-Year-Old Man Found Drowned at Le Goulet Beach
A tragedy occurred at the public beach of Le Goulet, where a 55-year-old man was found drowned.
A tragic incident took place at the public beach of Le Goulet on Monday, August 3, around 10:30 AM. A 55-year-old man, residing on Route Bassin in Sainte-Croix, was discovered in difficulty in the water.
Rescue teams, including the SAMU, were quickly dispatched to the scene. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, they could only confirm the individual’s death. An autopsy was performed and revealed that the cause of death was asphyxia due to drowning.
