Investigation into the Death of Jonathan Koo Yam Too: 21 People Questioned
The Prime Minister announces the continuation of the investigation with the assistance of foreign investigators.
The Mauritian Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam, provided an update on Tuesday in Parliament regarding the ongoing investigation into the shooting death of Jonathan Koo Yam Too, a 40-year-old man. According to his statements, the investigation is progressing and has already led to the questioning of 21 individuals so far.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister revealed that a team of foreign investigators has been mobilized to assist the local police in this complex case. This collaboration aims to strengthen investigative efforts and provide additional expertise in handling this sensitive matter.
Ramgoolam also mentioned that four individuals have come forward, which could potentially help advance the investigation. The government remains committed to clarifying the circumstances surrounding this tragedy that has shaken the local community.
